Our CEO Speaks at the Fast Track Business Activation Mechanism

Our CEO, Antoun Massaad, was recently invited to speak at a press conference organised by the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry and the Ministry of Interior.

The event, which took place on May 19, 2021, was held to report on the progress of this initiative, which was designed to help foreign companies relocate to Cyprus with the least amount of disruption.

Cedar Rose has recently relocated nine employees to Cyprus from Lebanon using the fast track mechanism and all are looking forward to the opportunities that await in the future, both on a personal and professional level.

Antoun has been overwhelmed by the support from the initiative, which was first introduced to him at the Cyprus Export Awards ceremony. He goes on to say:

About The Fast Track Business Activation Mechanism

The Council of Ministers approved the Fast Track Business Activation Mechanism on September 3, 2020, with the goal of attracting more foreign business to Cyprus and providing a fast and efficient service to those businesses looking to establish a presence here.

The Scheme aims to provide many advantages to new investors, including the completion of procedures for forming a company within seven days of entering the Mechanism, the issuance of residence and employment permits within 4-6 weeks, depending on the number of permits requested, and the employment of a greater number of third-country nationals in specific professions and with specialized skills.
